My Christmas

-Hello! my name is Andrés Téllez and I am from Colombia but I live in Spain, this Christmas I am 5 years in Spain, and my family and I celebrated this Christmas like we do at Colombia.

-We make `La novena de aguinaldos´: nine days after the nativity scene of Jesus, we pray every day of its nine days till the day of the nativty scene of Jesus.

-On Christmas' eve, all the family (and friends or guests) cook the Christmas food: usually, we cook a big animal (chicken, turkey, pig, lamb) with beer and spices, and we dress it with pineapple sauce; we cook custard too; some pineapple dessert; peanuts; potatoes with cheese; typical Colombian food; etc...

We give the presents to everybody and pray.

-We try all the Christmas to travel to any site, Madrid, Barcelona, sometimes we travel to another countries.

- On New Year's evet, we make another food, and we wait till the 12:00 for eat the 12 grapes. Then we usually celebrate, we call to our friends and family in Colombia, and wego to sleep very late.

-The next days we travel to sites near our city, and we usually go shopping, and we take many  photos, we Love taking photos!

-Then, we should retorn to the job or to the school.
