| Christmas food |
Dear friends,
Last Christmas was very nice. First, we celebrated the
Christmas’ Eve with my family and friends and ate a lot!! We hit the ‘Tió’ with
a piece of wood and it gave us some presents. After that, we went to my
granny’s house to lunch, we also ate a lot! Then, we celebrated ‘Sant Esteve’ with my
granny, too. In 31st of December, at 23:59 there are the bell strokes and we eat
1 grape with this. During Christmas we eat ‘turrons’
and ‘polvorones’. The 6th of January, we celebrate the ‘reyes magos’
(Three Wise Men) and they come at night and bring a lot of presents.
We end the Christmas holidays on the 8th of
January .
